Rebecca Pearson, Daily Echo – February 15, 2016

HE has been entertaining swooning fans for half a century.

Jimmy Osmond came to fame 50 years ago as the youngest member of The Osmonds with five of his siblings.

Now the Long Haired Lover From Liverpool singer will celebrate his landmark year with a visit to the south coast.

He is bringing a show packed full of musical memories and nostalgic footage to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre.

Moon River and Me…With Jimmy Osmond will sweep fans back through the ages with a celebration of the life and work of singer Andy Williams.

Jimmy will perform some of the star’s best-loved songs including Music to Watch Girls By, Happy Heart and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You as well as his show topper Moon River and of course, some of the hits that brought Jimmy and his brothers to fame.

Jimmy, who made his debut performance on the Andy Williams Show at three-years-old will also talk to fans about his own memories of the star who had recorded 44 albums before his death in 2012.

The 84-year-old, who also started out in a sibling-band The Williams Brothers quartet, was known for his variety show which was on TV from 1962 until 1971 and even had a theatre in Missouri in the US named after Moon River – his best-known song.

The youngest Osmond brother will be joined on stage by special guests including Britain’s Got Talent 2008 star Charlie Green and Emily Penny who appeared on The Voice in 2014.

The show will be at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre from 7.30pm on September 28.

Tickets start from £31.75.
